Silent Connections (2024)

Silent Connections is a photo installation that captures the unspoken emotional currents within relationships through intimate portraits of individuals. Focusing on one subject per image, the series uses expressions, body language, and subtle interactions with objects like phones and hands to suggest the presence of another person without showing them. Through a mix of natural and strobe lighting, warm tones, and cinematic composition, each of the seven small-scale prints evokes quiet, introspective moments that feel personal and memory-like. The work reflects on how technology, lighting, and framing can shape our perception of intimacy, inviting viewers to observe these silent dialogues as if they were private scenes from a drama.
